Floral Care

We want your flowers to stay fresh and beautiful for as long as possible.

Follow these simple tips to ensure your blooms thrive and brighten up your space for days to come.

For Bouquets 💐:

🪴  Place in a Cool Spot

  • Keep your flowers away from direct sunlight, heat, and drafts. Flowers last longer in cool environments.
  • Avoid placing them near ripening fruit, as the ethylene gas can cause flowers to wilt faster.

For Fresh Cut Flowers 🌹 :

1. Prepare Your Vase

  • Use a clean vase to prevent bacteria from affecting the flowers.
  • Fill the vase with fresh, room-temperature water, and add flower food if provided.

2. Trim the Stems

  • Cut 1-2 cm off the bottom of each stem at a 45-degree angle. This helps the flowers absorb more water.

3. Remove Lower Leaves

  • Strip off any leaves that will be below the waterline in the vase. Leaves in water promote bacterial growth, which can shorten the life of your flowers.

4. Place in a Cool Spot

  • Keep your flowers away from direct sunlight, heat, and drafts. Flowers last longer in cool environments.

5. Change Water Regularly

  • Refresh the water every 2-3 days to keep it clean and free from bacteria.
  • Recut the stems when you change the water to maintain good water flow.

6. Use Flower Food

  • If provided, use the flower food that comes with your bouquet. It provides the right nutrients to keep the flowers fresh.

7. Special Care for Specific Flowers

  • Roses: Remove any guard petals (the outermost petals) to allow the roses to bloom fully.
  • Tulips: These continue to grow after cutting. Trim the stems slightly every few days to maintain their shape. Keep in cool place.
  • Lilies: Remove the pollen stamens to prevent staining and extend their lifespan.

For Dried & Preserved Flowers 🌼  :

1. Avoid Direct Sunlight

Keep your dried and preserved flowers out of direct sunlight. Too much exposure can cause the colors to fade over time.

2. Keep Them Dry

Humidity can damage dried and preserved flowers, causing them to wilt or lose their shape. Place them in a dry environment and avoid exposure to moisture or water.

3. Handle with Care

Dried and preserved flowers are delicate. Handle them gently when moving or arranging, as they can break easily.

4. Dust Gently

To remove dust, use a soft brush or a hairdryer on a cool, low setting. This helps maintain their appearance without causing damage.

5. Avoid Crushing or Pressing

Keep your flowers in a space where they won’t be pressed or crushed, as this can cause them to lose their shape or petals.
